Sheratan over at CARM very kindly converted this
entire site (as of 10/07) to a plucker file for PDAs. Not having a PDA myself, he even mailed a couple screen shots so I could take
a look at the final product. Which I thought was excessively cool. ;-)
Word of warning - some of the Greek characters didn't convert properly
(formatting problems on my part), but the material should still be readable and coherent since I transliterate the Greek &
Hebrew as often as I do.
I any event, (!!!) THANK YOU ROB (!!!), for creating the file, linked below
for anyone who'd like to give the site a try on your PDA...
The following are debates in which I (posting as tkkclark) have
gone into greater detail in my arguments, for those who'd like to take a look at the nitty gritty grammar, etc.
Be forewarned - I neither endorse nor condone some of the behavior exhibited in these debates and at times,
unfortunately, that includes my own.
The debate sidetracks to a discussion of whether or not the Holy Spirit speaks in Scripture, but particularly in Acts
8:29. I should also note that at the time of this debate, I had not yet posted my name to this website and had not yet publicly
claimed it as my work, though I can’t recall if my retiscience at that point was because I was still meeting with JWs
or if I was simply hesitant due to the possibility of harrassment.
How Can Jesus be Worshipped if Only "a god"? Parts
1 & 2
One of my favorite debates, though exceedingly lengthy. I
think if you print the entire series, you'll end up with approx. 200pgs. Who knows, maybe more. I haven't reviewd
my hardcopy in quite some time, but its a couple inches thick if memory serves.
In Part 1, I argue for John 1:1a, the imperfect en, denoting the Word (Jesus)
as continually existing before the Beginning (Creation). Although, again if memory serves, I was distracted (and disgusted)
when I felt another poster had deliberately distorted and misapplied a quote from Vine's. I come in (again as tkkclark)
toward the end of Page 9.
In Part 2, another poster and I go into the nitty gritty
of the grammar of 1:1c. This debate particularly isn't for the faint at heart. Granted, I've seen worse. Loads worse.
But this still becomes fairly acerbic toward the end. At least this one's shorter. :-)
Debating 101
Not a download, exactly, but I'm posting pdfs of some of my debates here. May
as well post links to my blogs on debating...
